Sunday 1st October. Racing Post have one whole page on today's game. Supposedly unbiased. they sell facts. They say MOST of Norwich fans have had enough of Worthington even with past success.

They refer to Norwich as hopeless at Plymouth and Delia & Michael's subsequent statement of lack of commitment. They say there rumours of no lack of passion on the coach with two players brawling and say this bodes ill for team morale.

They lead by saying that Worthington has been left in no uncertain terms that he has two games to save his job. Coming from a respected national newspaper there can be little doubt that if there is only mediocre improvement and it is seen as satisfactory the Board will be seen as laughing stock.     Opinion

Following a 4-1 defeat by Burnley, Nigel Worthington was sacked by the Board after the match. 

Fans, both those who supported and the those who opposed him, swiftly offered their thanks for the good times and sincere good wishes for the future.
